The pink dogwood is an American classic. These legendary trees have long been part of our native landscape and provide an aura of magnificence in a 100% North American native cultivar that ranges from Maine to Florida from the Atlantic seaboard to the Pacific Ocean .

The pink dogwood is a special tree, because it rewards the gardener all year. As the days lengthen and warm, creamy pink blooms with subtle highlights of red cover the tree and announce the arrival of spring. When summer arrives the upward branching and deep green textured leaves provide an elegant and graceful appearance among larger straighter shade trees, evergreens, or the sharp geometry of your home. Swirling scarlet and purple leaves add to the color show in the fall, along with brilliant red berries that attract up to 36 species of songbird through the early winter.

This breathtakingly beautiful tree is an excellent choice to plant along streets, near large buildings, next to patios or as a property border. It provides an eye-catching display when planted in rows, but also excels as a solo planting, or among towering giants. Dogwoods do best in some shade and rich soil, but can adapt to a variety of conditions with proper care.

Nice dogwood tree

Smaller than I thought it would be, but it is blooming and will look great in 10 years!

Second dogwood from New Blooms

This is the second small dogwood tree I have purchased from New Blooms. They arrive healthy and plant well. The white one I purchased from them last year is doing very well. So far, the pink one I bought this year looks good, too.

I'm looking forward to watching it grow and can't wait for the pink blooms next year!

Pink flowering dogwood

We received the tree on time and in great condition. I was a little disappointed that it didnt come in a pot at least not the type I was imagining. Nowhere on the website did it say a cloth pot. But I am pleased with the purchase and it was here in time for mother's day.
