Blue Ray Kousa Dogwood

The 'Blue Ray' dogwood shares all of the excellent features of the kousa dogwood, while adding a deep bluish glow to the leaf color and a more modest 15 to 20 ft. size. It has plentiful white/cream colored bracts and like all kousa dogwoods provides many seasons of interest.

We carry a large number of Kousa dogwoods because they check all the boxes. If you’ve seen a mature specimen, we don’t have to tell you that they are stunningly beautiful. Exfoliating bark, outstanding horizontal structure, glossy leaves, attractive fruit and plentiful flowering bracts make it a tree for all seasons. Once established they also tend to be more robust against pathogens and fungal diseases than the traditional North American dogwood, cornus florida, which is why we offer many varieties of kousa and hybrid florida x kousa dogwoods.
