If you’re contemplating a Yellowwood tree, buy it now! They are very hard to find in native plant nurseries. I bought the last of the largest size in late April 2026, and within days the smaller size was sold out as well.
I was delighted by this small company! They took great care in wrapping the tree for shipment, and it arrived intact. I’d never planted a tree before, and Travis was responsive and helpful. The website has valuable care information, including a fun science experiment on testing your soil!

Very impressed with my order from New Blooms. The salvia arrived extremely well packaged, healthy, and in excellent shape right out of the box. You could tell care was taken during shipping because nothing was broken, crushed, or stressed. Shipping was also very fast which was a huge plus. Definitely one of the better online plant ordering experiences I’ve had and I’d absolutely order from them again.
The nursery is small; however, the selection of plants are top quality. I hope this is the year my dogwood blossoms.

This replaces an old yellowwood tree that has been much admired in my front yard. Bees love the flowers, you need to be patient for the tree to be old enough to flower. When it does, the scent is wonderful, and the sound of the bees is very noticeable.
My lovely baby “Blushing Belle” ornamental magnolia tree, which was to be planted in my front yard as a Memorial Tree for my mother is THRIVING. It arrived beautifully/effectively packed with no damage at all, and the root ball tightly wrapped in Saran plastic wrap. I had a professional landscaper dig the hole as our clay soil is extremely hard during a drought. He improved the soil only slightly mixing in some garden soil with the clay. We followed the planting instructions verbatim and I’ve watered the baby tree daily since it was planted. The mulching is a must to keep the soil moist in the NC Sunshine. I’m absolutely thrilled to be enjoying the sight of my Mom’s tree growing in front of my living room windows. Also, I found the nursery/sellers to be exceptionally responsive to my questions! Thanks so much for the special tree and very reasonable pricing!! I will definitely order from you again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
