Feather Reed Grass is a classic ornamental that is still widely sought after and used. This variegated form is streaked with character making it a smart addition to any garden that features whites or silvers. It wii anchor a hardscape with it's characteristic vertical tassels and uniform appearance. In mass plantings along sidewalks, porches or foundations it shines.
Calamagrostis acutiflora rises quickly from it's previous growth in the spring and has appeal for the entire season. The fine blades of 'Overdam' are variegated green centers with white time that persist through fall and early winter. In early spring, fine tassels rise from the plant that take on a more substantial quality in the summer into the fall.

Variegated Feather Reed Grass
Karl forester grass is easily grown in sunny dry conditions. It can tolerate any soil including heavy clay. Be sure to provide supplemental water in hot dry weather, cut back to around 6 to 8 inches in the spring before the new growth begins. Can be divided in spring or fall.
