The deep purple leaves are the defining feature of the Forest Pansy Redbud. From spring to fall this tree will add beautiful shades of purple and green foliage to your home or garden. This depth of color depends on the amount of sun that the leaves receive. In full sun the leaves will transition to a deep green with brighter green veins. In full shade, they will remain more purple with green veins. Like all redbud trees, the forest pansy has captivating heart shaped leaves and small bright purple flower clusters. Redbuds are hearty and disease resistant trees, and can tolerate a wide range of soil and light conditions.

Cant wait for it to bloom!

I love working with New Blooms Nursery! I received 2 Forest Pansy’s! Great shipping & timely! If I could change one thing about the tree it would be that it still had its limbs when I received. But I love working with this company! I have purchased a lot from them! Great experience.

Fancy Redbud tree

We planted our Forest Pansy Redbud tree a few weeks ago. So far, it hasn’t bloomed but the anticipation is so exciting. Your quick response to our order was great and highly commendable. Thanks so much!
