The Fuji Apple tree is a wonderful apple variety that has a lot to offer as a nice backyard fruit tree. It is a smaller size but still has a large fruit production making it easy to care for and harvest. It also produces large to very large, sweeter, and crispier apples than many other apple cultivars. Fuji apples ripen in mid-September to mid-October with a beautiful red fruit. The fruit also has a very long shelf life compared to other apples. The "Fuji" tree requires pollination by an apple tree of another variety with the same bloom period, which is late spring, planted within 50 feet.
