'Touch of Blush' earns its charming name from the delicate pink tones that emerge on new foliage, beautifully complementing the bright white variegation against deep green leaves. This Proven Winners introduction offers a more refined, compact alternative to traditional false sunflowers, bringing both striking foliage and cheerful blooms to the summer garden.

The real star of this cultivar is its tri-colored foliage—dark green leaves edged with creamy white margins and blushed with soft pink on emerging growth, creating a dynamic, eye-catching display throughout the season.Semi-double golden yellow flowers feature multiple layers of overlapping petals and distinctive dark brown centers blooming profusely from midsummer through late summer. The flowers are slightly smaller and more refined than other variegated varieties like 'Bit of Honey'.

Growing 18-20 inches tall with a 16-20 inch spread, this bushy, well-branched perennial fits perfectly into smaller borders, mixed containers, and contemporary garden designs where space is at a premium. Still thinking if it is right for you? Like other Heliopsis, 'Touch of Blush' attracts bees and butterflies, providing valuable nectar for pollinators throughout the summer months. Deer and rabbit resistant making it ideal for gardens where browsing is a concern.

General care for any tree or shrub is easy, but like any living thing will require your attention. Please educate yourself and follow these simple rules.

Heliopsis 'Touch of Blush'

Heliopisis will grow in both full sun and part shade. We recommend full sun for best performance. Heleiopsis does well in average soil and will tend to fall if grown in soil that is too rich. Just keep fertility and moisture average and this plant will be its most successful. You can deadhead spent flowers and you'll get more blooms - this will also help prevent reseeding, unless you are naturalizing an area, in that case let them grow!
