Full deep violet blooms emerge with white calyxes , which pop like miniature snowflakes across the entire flower display. Salvia is easy to grow and we like to offer plants that provide great results with minimal input. When we saw this new bicolor Proven Winners® saliva at a trade show, we both agreed it would be a great addition to the catalog. We can't wait to see it add amazing color and performance in your gardens and container plantings. Growing to about 20 inches tall and wide, this saliva makes a great flowering perennial for the mid-point of garden beds, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. Planted in mass it can be truly stunning offering a platform of color to pollinators when it is in bloom. There is a reason saliva is trusted by so many gardeners. It's easy, it's beautiful, and it resists pests and disease.

Salvia 'Azure Snow' COLOR SPIRES

Easy to grow in almost any climate, saliva is a tough drought resistant plant. During the bloom period it does benefit from additional water and will perform better if watered regularly from spring into mid-summer. Deadheading the plants will encourage new blooms to come on. You can cut them all the way back to the newest foliage at the base of the plant if they become leggy, if cut back the plants may also rebloom, but usually the flowers won't be as voluminous as the first bloom. This is a great plant for beginning gardeners.
