Our large 'Shasta' Viburnums will immediately act as a focal point in your garden. In May this shrub blooms with a profusion of large satin white flowers. The leaves of this plant are a dark greenish gold and velvet-like similar to other viburnum. Another attraction of the 'Shasta' Viburnum is the lower horizontal growth habit that creates a tiered affect, which when the shrub blooms creates and amazing cascade of thick white blooms. In late summer this tree also attracts birds with bright red berries that pop on the foliage before becoming a snack. These shrubs are often used a hedge rows as their thick branching and large form can be easily pruned and managed into a uniformed hedge.
