The 'Sky Tower' Ginkgo is a popular tree for tight spaces where upright/tight growth is desirable. Named because they grow upward in a tight column, this ginkgo will grow about 6-8 ft. wide and around 20 ft. tall. If you've never seen a ginkgo leaf, they are one of the most beautiful leaves of any tree. They will add an exotic appeal to any garden or yard. Ginkgo trees grow a uniform light green in the spring and darken up slightly in the summer. In the fall ginkgo trees have consistent golden leaves. The color is outstanding and can rival any other tree for fall beauty. Combine these with red maples, dogwoods, or a purple leave cherry for an amazing display.

All 'Sky Tower' Ginkgo Trees are of a male selection - meaning they will not produce fruit. These trees are very hardy and have withstood the test of time. The ginkgo is literally 270 million years old, making it one of the most ancient and successful trees. When caring for these trees we recommend maintaining the usual mulch ring to protect the tree from elements, competing plants, and yard equipment for the first few years. Slow release fertilizer can be applied (per directions on the bag) in the early fall to give the tree a boost that will carry through to spring. See our care tab below for more details.

Excellent Experience & Thriving Trees – Highly Recommend!

I recently ordered 16 Sky Tower Ginkgo's to create a unique hedge for a client. This was my first time ordering plants online, as I usually go through my trusted local vendors. I had some hesitation, but I really wanted to try this particular cultivar and see how it performs.

Travis was incredibly helpful—he responded quickly and answered all of my questions in great detail, which gave me the confidence to move forward with the purchase. When the trees arrived, they were in excellent condition and have been thriving ever since.

I'm excited to watch these Ginkgos grow and am so glad I took the chance. If you’re on the fence about ordering, I can assure you the quality and service are top-notch. 10/10 recommend!

Ginco tree

The tree came as promised.
This is the third plant I purchased from New Blooms.
They have all started growing shortly after being placed in the ground..
It's exactly what you would expect from a reputable well run company. You order, they deliver. They kept me informed along the way. Multiple e mails about order was placed and order is on the way.
The plants are fine and growing, and the company seems organised and thoughtful. Next time I need plants I wont hesitate to use them again.

My New Tree

The tree arrived in good shape. I planted it into the hole made from the tree the city forced me to remove. It has been over a week and yet it is still standing firm.

Sky tower ginkgo

Received an ultra skinny twig for an ultra slow grower. Not well established at all. :(

The tree looks good, but I think I received it a little early for western New York. I planted it right away and we will see how it does.
