Related to the Lavender Twist redbud, Vanilla Twist is a green leafed, white flowering weeping redbud. Weeping redbuds are amazing trees for their ability to bring the timeless qualities of a redbud in a small package. Reaching only 4-6 ft. high, all you need is 4 ft. sq. wide and you have plenty of space for a weeping redbud. In early spring, tiny orange/green leaflets and clusters of brilliant white flowers emerge creating a spectacular display of vivid white on weeping branches along the tree. As the leaflets mature, they transform to light then a dark green heart shaped leaf. The golden falls redbud was hybridized and introduced by Tim Brotzman (Madison, OH).
General care for any tree or shrub is easy, but like any living thing will require your attention. Please educate yourself and follow these simple rules.
