It has just started blooming and is a beauty. Salvias are one of my favorite perennials, so tough and beautiful.
The gallon planter size could be split into two or three grass starts. So far they are taking off beautifully.
Bloomed within days of planting (see pic) and is now leafing out, despite a few days' trip to NJ!
The Golden Anniversary Baptisia was on my wish list but is hard to find locally as its a bew introduction. Looks good sized & healthy! Cant wait to see it grow & thrive in the garden!
These are the best mail order plants that I ever received. the roots are amazing with all the capillary roots intact. I waited to write anything till the plants leafed. every bud made it. Can't wait tell their old enough to flower.
I received my order today of 8 items(4 of the fashionista salvia and 4 of the lemon love coral bells) and the plants were absolutely stunning! They were not just starter plants either but well-rooted, gallon size plants. Each plant was perfectly healthy and the 4 salvia were actually blooming already when I unpacked them! Everything was packed carefully-I had no broken plants and each plant was carefully wrapped and protected with wrapping materials. Shipping was as I had ordered it to be and was fast.
